Pete the cat
Pete the Cat would be great to use in my Kindergarten class. Teaching with rhythmic, along with a lesson on colors. My daughter loves Pete the cat books.
Poems
Love, love Poems. It could work with any grade level. I would use this book of poems with several different lessons. most how a poem can be structured.
Respect
I would use this book in my third grade class, few days before I am going to be out. Teaching the students that in order for you to get respect, you have to give respect first.

I have read this book so many times during pregnancy, after baby was born, and still to this day to my children. I would use it mostly in a kindergarten class and a first grade class to show the students that everyone comes from somewhere.
3rd grade
I believe I could use this book in my 3 rd grade class, Using the book to teach the student about plays and how to act out situations.
3rd grade
My Ct has her class reading this book set. There are several books with in the set on how people survived this event with in lit circles. I would use this books in 4th grade not 3rd grade due to some of the figurative language.
3rd grade
We just read this book in class, it was not my favorite one. It is a different version of the Three little pigs I would be great to use in 3rd grade.

Roald Dahl
Author Roald Dahl is a great writer. My Ct referred this book to me. She is currently reading it to her 3rd grade class
